Who Is Yaqub?: NaLaiya's Post

Hi, I’m NaLaiya and I am Yaqub Brock’s best friend. Me and Yaqub have been friends since about 7th grade. Since the first day we talked we always have had a close bond like we were family. He always made everyone smile, everyday. If I felt like I didn’t have anyone I know I have him. Even now that he is gone I still feel like I have him and he will always be my best friend.

So his family and friends including myself, started a Foundation not only for his memory but for other kids to have opportunities. Yaqub passed only when he was 15 which is very young. So giving kid’s opportunities and letting them enjoy their lives as kids is very important while they can and that’s what his Foundation is trying to do.
